Ruth Barone
Co-Founder and Partner
Ruth Barone is a Co-Founder and Partner of Glenmere Capital Partners, LLC. Ms. Barone brings to Glenmere Capital a wealth of experience in real estate finance, investment, development, and asset management accumulated over the course of a highly successful 25-plus-year career. Ms. Barone has billions of dollars of transactional experience across all asset classes.
Prior to the formation of Glenmere Capital, Ms. Barone was associated with Stillwater Capital Partners L.P. where she served as Managing Director of its Real Estate Asset Backed Fund. During her tenure at Stillwater Ms. Barone developed extensive contacts in the investment fund industry, and gained proficiency structuring fund-level debt including warehouse lines, credit lines and collateralized debt. She also structured debt and equity transactions, participations with other funds, built portfolios, and managed assets. Prior to being recruited by Stillwater, Ms. Barone served as Senior Vice President of Carlton Advisory Services, Inc. for 12 years. While at Carlton, Ms. Barone orchestrated billions of dollars of real estate finance transactions on behalf of many of New York City’s leading real estate investors and developers. Prior to Carlton, Ms. Barone was Director of Acquisitions for Atlantic Realty Group where she was solely responsible for the analysis, negotiation, acquisition, and financing of commercial real estate. Ms. Barone’s real estate career began as Comptroller of Finance for Mountbatten Equities, a real estate partnership which acquired, developed and managed investment properties. At Mountbatten, she was responsible for overseeing accounting for eight corporations.
